If you have booked your cruise with us you can set up an Event on our Facebook Group and post it on our main Facebook Group Wall.

Are your deals always solo pricing and do they include taxes & port fees?

Yes, our pricing is only solo rates and we always try to include all port fees and taxes.

Are the prices on your homepage up to date?

We always try to keep up to date with our pricing but it’s not live pricing and cruise lines can and do change pricing regularly, please contact us to confirm all pricing.

Do you have any social media presence?

Yes, we have a Facebook Group, A Facebook Page and a YouTube Channel, links are on our homepage.

How can I make friends with other solo travellers?

Before the cruise join any Facebook event and search Facebook for a group set up by passengers for your cruise date.
When onboard go to any solo meetings the cruise line has organised and take part with onboard activities.

I am scared. I need help at the airport. Do your cruises leave from USA?

Yes, we have lots of no fly cruises leaving from multiple American Ports.

I’ve missed planes and trains, but what can you do to avoid missing the cruise? Is it better to stay near the port or closer to the airport?

It’s a good idea to stay in an airport hotel or a hotel close to the cruise port the night before depending on the itinerary. It’s a less stressful way to start your holiday.

How do you save money and still go on excursions off the ship?

There are local tour booths in many ports where you can walk of the ship and book immediately with them plus you can simply explore the ports yourself.
Remember the ship will not wait for you so booking with the cruise line gives you peace of mind as they have to get you back to the ship on time.

What is the difference between solo cabins and cabins that are usually double but can be booked with a single supplement?

A solo cabin may be a little smaller than your average cabin as it’s meant to be used by a single guest.
The studio cabins on NCL Ships are all together in the same corridors.

How much are your solo supplements?

This can depend on the deal; we like to look for no single supplements or a maximum of 50%.

Dining reservations better alone or with others? Specialty dining (NCL) noticed not able to select 1 as an option?

If you go to the solo meetings that’s a great place to ask who wants to dine together tonight as we feel sharing dining together is a much more enjoyable experience.
You can also ask if anyone wants to book a speciality restaurant together, you can also do this if you are chatting in a Facebook Event of Facebook Group before your cruise

Are solo cabins usually in undesirable parts of the ship?

We have found that solo cabins are situated through all parts of the ship but always worth doing your research as mid ship is my most desired location.

My question today is which cruise lines have the most delicious and best food? (Not including the high-end cruise lines)? I’ve been rather disappointed over the last years. I can cook wonderfully and if vacationing I’m looking for the same quality or better than what I can make. I want a break.

If you are a real foodie especially when not cruising with the high end cruise lines I would consider purchasing a speciality dining package in advance.

I’m always concerned when on excursions solo that no one will be aware that I’m not back on the bus yet because I’m in the bathroom, it’s not the time to be back yet but everyone else is there, etc. How do I make sure not to be left behind?

If the cruise line has a tour guide on the excursion they will do a numbers check before leaving a destination but always worth asking a fellow passenger sat near you to make sure they don’t leave without you.

Do you have solo cruises out of Texas or Florida?

We try to find great solo deals out our all cruise ports you can search for these on our website or ask our team.

Which NCL ships actually have solo (no single supplement) cabins AND solo balcony cabins?

Most of and especially the newer NCL ships have Solo Studio Cabins & a Solo Studio Lounge and NCL have announced more designated solo inside, outside and balcony cabins.
